Item Description
Allen-Bradley 140MT-D9N-C10 motor protection circuit breaker, 10 amp trip rating, 480V. Allen-Bradley (Rockwell Automation) is the dominant US PLC and industrial controls brand. The 140MT series provides combined motor protection and short-circuit protection in a single breaker, alternative to using a magnetic-only breaker plus a separate overload relay.
Motor protection circuit breakers combine adjustable thermal overload protection with magnetic short-circuit protection, providing complete motor branch circuit protection compliant with NEC 430. The 10A trip rating sizes this breaker for motors up to approximately 3 HP at 480V. Applications include small motor starter installations, OEM machine builds, and any motor branch circuit requiring code-compliant combined protection. 2010 manufacture date, used condition.
