Cooper Bussmann Fusetron FRS-R-450 Class RK5 dual-element time-delay fuse, 450 amp, 600VAC. Bussmann (St. Louis, Missouri, now part of Eaton) is the premier US fuse manufacturer, in business since 1914.
Class RK5 dual-element time-delay fuses are designed for motor circuit protection with built-in delay to allow motor starting inrush without nuisance opening. The dual-element design separates the overload element from the short-circuit element, providing precise overload protection and high-speed short-circuit interruption in the same fuse body. Applications include motor branch circuit protection at large industrial motors, transformer primary protection, and feeder circuits where time-delay is required. 450A rating sizes this fuse for large motors approaching 200 HP at 480V. Used condition.
