Item Description
Three-station electroplating rectifier and bath control system built into an industrial server rack enclosure. Each channel provides an independent multi-range programmable DC output rated 0 to 80 VDC and 0 to 60 A at 1200 W, with anode, cathode, heater, analog I/O, and discrete I/O terminated on a machined bulkhead panel.
Control is handled by a Phoenix Contact ILC 151 ETH inline controller with a 12.1 inch Maple Systems OMI6812A panel PC as the operator interface, linked by a Phoenix Contact five-port industrial Ethernet switch. Bath temperature is regulated by Omegaette PID control with DIN rail signal conditioning. Sixteen Phoenix Contact plug-in relay modules carry the interlock and start sequencing logic, powered from AutomationDirect Rhino 24 VDC control supplies. Line side protection consists of an ABB OT63F6 63 A load-break disconnect, Eaton FAZ series DIN breakers, and Phoenix Contact Type 3 surge protection.
Multi-range operation delivers full rated power at any voltage and current combination within the 80 V and 60 A limits, and the list and sequence modes support pulse plating programs. Suited to jewelry and decorative finishing lines, functional plating job shops, precious metal recovery cells, anodizing and electropolishing stations, and plating process development.
Cabinet measures 41 by 25 by 85 inches and weighs 496 lb. Perforated front door, numbered and ferruled wiring throughout, original loop labeling intact. Tagged as used and reported working when removed from service, not bench tested by King Surplus.
