Spec Basis: verified 2026-09-16 against this record's own photographs (11 read), transcribing the contactor nameplate, the overload relay label and the suppressor module label directly. Agrees with record manufacturer (FID 56 Square D) and model (FID 57). The type is PE 4.00 E, a 32 A IEC 3-pole contactor - it is not a NEMA "size 4" and is not described as one anywhere in this entry.

THREE CORRECTIONS - THIS ENTRY WAS TREATED AS A KNOWN-GOOD EXEMPLAR AND IT WAS NOT CLEAN:

1. OVERLOAD CURRENT RANGE was recorded as "2.6 - 4.7 A". That is wrong. The relay's own dial is marked 3.7, 4.7, 5.5, and Square D catalogues the 9065 TD/TE "3,7" unit as a 3.7-5.5 A device. Corrected to 3.7 - 5.5 A. This is the setting range of a motor protection relay, so the wrong figure would have sent a buyer to the wrong motor.
2. AUXILIARY CONTACT MAKE RATING was recorded as "75A make, 0.75A break". The label reads 7.5 A make, 0.75 A break. A 75 A make against a 0.75 A break is a hundred-to-one ratio and is not a rating any pilot-duty contact carries. Corrected to 7.5 A.
3. SUPPRESSOR MODULE was recorded as "Type: PM 250 ... Uc: 110-240 VAC". The label's type characters are not confidently legible in the photographs - they read as PW 250, and Square D's Class 9999 varistor module in this voltage band is catalogued as PRV 250; PM 250 is not supported by either. The type is therefore left unstated rather than guessed. The printed Uc is 110-250 V, 50/60 Hz, not 110-240 V AC; the narrower AC-only range was not on the unit.
