Item Description
The AdobeAir P720501A is a commercial grade submersible pump for evaporative (swamp) coolers, marked EP480 on its label. It sits in the water reservoir at the bottom of the cooler and lifts water through the distribution lines to the top of the cooler pads, keeping the media wet so incoming air is cooled as the water evaporates.
The nameplate rates the pump at 240 volts, 60 Hz single phase, 80 watts and 0.6 amps, so it is intended for 240V cooler motor circuits rather than 120V residential units. AdobeAir, based in Phoenix, Arizona, built MasterCool and other evaporative cooler lines, and P720501A is its replacement part number for this pump.
