The Dayton 6E820A is an air curtain blower assembly, the powered head unit that pairs with a Dayton air curtain cabinet to form a complete unheated air curtain. Air curtains create a continuous high velocity sheet of air across an open doorway, forming a thermal and contaminant barrier that holds conditioned air inside while keeping outside air, dust, and flying insects out. They are common over freezer and cooler doors, loading dock entries, and high traffic commercial and industrial doorways where doors need to stay open. This unit drives a 1/2 HP, two speed, single phase motor and pushes a 3,800 FPM air stream, suited for doorways up to 5 ft wide and mounting heights up to 10 ft.
