The HRH040U1LP6 is a hermetic, fixed-speed scroll compressor for air conditioning and heat pump systems. As with all scroll compressors, a fixed and an orbiting spiral progressively compress refrigerant gas toward the center of the scroll set; the motor and scroll are sealed in a welded shell that is replaced as a unit rather than repaired internally.
