The ZR94KCE is a Copeland Scroll hermetic compressor from Emerson's commercial ZRKC family, designed for air conditioning and heat pump applications in the 7-15 HP / roughly 5-7.5 ton class. The "94" denotes its nominal 94,000 BTU/hr cooling capacity, placing it at the top of the ZRKC range. It is a fixed capacity, 3 phase scroll using axial and radial compliance for efficient compression and good liquid handling tolerance, with rated efficiency up to roughly 11.3 EER. The unit is charged with POE (polyolester) oil, making it compatible with 22, 407C, and R134 originally an R22 design that carried forward as a service replacement for newer refrigerants. Connection sizes are 1-1/8" ODF suction and 7/8" ODF discharge. Being 3 phase, it requires no start or run capacitor.
