Pressure independent control valves combine the modulating function of a control valve with the automatic flow-limiting function of a dynamic balancing valve in a single body. PICVs eliminate the need for separate balancing valves in hydronic systems and maintain the design flow regardless of system pressure variations. Applications include hydronic heating and chilled water systems, fan coil units, terminal reheat coils, and any installation where simplified hydronic balancing is desired. 2019 manufacture date, used condition.
