Item Description
The ANCLO AU100 is a strut channel clamp, known in Mexico as an abrazadera unicanal, sized for 1 inch (25 mm) Schedule 40 conduit. It is used to secure rigid conduit or pipe runs to a slotted strut channel framework, the same framing system electricians and mechanical contractors use to support raceways, piping and equipment on walls, ceilings and trapeze hangers.
The clamp is formed from 14 gauge (1.9 mm) galvanized steel. Each clamp half wraps around the conduit and its ends engage the lips of the strut channel, then a bolt and nut draw the halves together to hold the run in place. The AU designation in ANCLO's catalog identifies the unicanal clamp for Schedule 40 conduit, and the 100 suffix denotes the 1 inch trade size. ANCLO sells a separate AW series for thin wall EMT conduit, so the AU100 is the correct choice for heavier rigid conduit.
