Binks 83-1421 Stratoprene lid gasket for 10 and 15 gallon pressure paint tanks. The lid gasket is the seal that lets a pressure pot hold spraying pressure; a hardened or cut gasket shows up as pressure loss and spitting at the gun.
Finishing shops running pressure-fed spray systems replace lid gaskets as routine maintenance on paint tanks and agitated pots, and keep spares because a torn gasket stops the booth until it is swapped.
