Item Description
Dodge 2517 Taper-Lock bushing with a 1-3/16 inch finished bore, marked TAPER-LOCK and MADE IN USA. Dodge, now part of RBC Bearings, is one of the standard American power transmission names.
A Taper-Lock bushing is the tapered, flangeless interface that locks a bushed sheave or sprocket onto its shaft: the bushing draws into the mating hub as the cap screws are tightened, grips the shaft through the keyway, and pulls free cleanly for service. The 2517 is one of the most common sizes in the range.
These mount fan, pump, blower, and conveyor drive sheaves on 1-3/16 inch shafts. Buyers match bushing series and bore exactly, since the series must suit the hub the sheave was bored for.
