Martin Engineering (Neponset, Illinois) manufactures bulk material handling components including industrial vibrators, conveyor belt cleaners, and flow aid devices for mining, power generation, cement, and aggregate industries.
Ball-type pneumatic vibrators use a steel ball rotating inside an aluminum housing to generate centrifugal vibration. Mounted on bin walls, chutes, and hoppers, they break up material bridging, ratholing, and arching that interrupt flow of powdered or granular bulk materials. Applications include cement silo flow promotion, coal bunker flow aid, food processing bin discharge, and any bulk material handling installation where flow assistance is needed. Used condition.
