Smith Bearing HR-1 Cam Follower Bearing (sealed, Needle Roller With Hex Drive)

Smith Bearing HR-1 heavy stud cam follower, needle roller construction with a 1.000 inch roller outside diameter, sealed, driven from a hex socket in the end of the stud. Smith Bearing (Accurate Bushing Company) has built stud-type cam followers in the United States for decades and the HR series is its heavy-stud line.

Stud cam followers thread into a machine member and let a track, cam or plate run against the outer roller. They appear in packaging machinery, indexing tables, conveyor guides, printing equipment and automation slides. The heavy stud carries higher moment load than a standard stud, and the hex-drive socket lets the follower be tightened from the roller face when the back of the mount is blind.
