Item Description
Enclosed parallel shaft drive unit stamped P3-15213, listed under the CAMCO name. The unit is a rectangular split steel housing bolted to an aluminum base plate, with two parallel shafts leaving the same face: one carries a roller chain sprocket and the other a hub disc. The housing has counterbored mounting holes on top, a vent or oil fitting and pipe plugs on the side.
The layout matches the parallel index drives CAMCO (Commercial Cam, now part of DESTACO) builds for indexing conveyors, rotary tables and assembly machines, where an input shaft turning continuously drives an output that dwells and moves in fixed steps. The P3 stamped numbers look like machine builder component numbers rather than a CAMCO catalog code, so the index count, dwell angle and ratio should be matched against the drive being replaced.
No nameplate is present. Buyers should compare shaft sizes, shaft spacing, sprocket, hub and base bolt pattern with the unit in their machine before purchase. A second identical unit, stamped P3-15209, is also in inventory.
