Item Description
This is a hydraulic hose assembly built with SAE 100R1AT hose, marked on its layline with a 2000 psi maximum working pressure and MSHA acceptance number 2G-130. It is fitted with metal end fittings for connection into a hydraulic circuit.
SAE 100R1AT is the single wire braid hydraulic hose grade defined in SAE J517. It has an oil resistant synthetic rubber tube, one braid of high tensile steel wire, and an abrasion and weather resistant rubber cover. The AT designation means the thinner cover does not have to be skived before fittings are attached. The allowed working pressure falls as hose size rises, and the 2000 psi rating on this hose is set by its size.
An MSHA acceptance number shows that the hose cover passed the Mine Safety and Health Administration flame resistance test, which is required for hydraulic hose used in underground mining equipment. R1AT hose is used for medium pressure lines, pilot and return lines on mobile equipment, agricultural and construction machinery, plant hydraulics and power units, with petroleum based hydraulic fluids.
