CM Model A-F 2788 rigid HK suspension for CM hoists. Columbus McKinnon's CM brand is a premier industrial lifting name; the rigid suspension is the top-mounting hardware that hangs the hoist body from a fixed anchorage or lug rather than a hook or trolley.
Rigid suspensions are used when a hoist is dedicated to one lifting station: workstation cranes, fixed monorail drops, and machine-mounted lift points in fabrication and assembly, where a swiveling top hook is unnecessary and a rigid connection keeps the hoist aligned.
