Item Description
Piloted machine reamer with a .1850 inch (4.70 mm) cutting diameter and a .1710 inch pilot tip, ground from high-speed steel with a TiN coating. The pilot tip leads the cutting flutes into the bore and keeps the tool aligned for a straight, concentric finished hole.
A small-bore piloted reamer in this range is used to bring a drilled hole to an exact final size in machine and tool-room work, holding close tolerance and a smooth bore. The TiN coating adds surface hardness and reduces friction during production reaming.
Condition appears unused. New surplus, available from King Surplus inventory in Del Rio, Texas.
