Item Description
Piloted reamer with a .3100 inch cutting diameter and a .2959 inch pilot, ground from high-speed steel and TiN coated. The pilot tip leads the cutting edges into the bore and guides the tool true so the finished hole holds size and concentricity.
The tool carries the I-H marking of Lavallee & Ide. Held in a machine chuck, it brings a drilled hole to a precise .3100 inch diameter with a smooth bore. The TiN coating reduces friction and extends edge life in steel and other alloys. It suits tool-room sizing, production hole finishing, and precision assembly work.
One reamer, in appears-unused condition. New surplus, available from King Surplus inventory in Del Rio, Texas.
