Item Description
HSS piloted reamer with a .533 inch cutting diameter and an integral .413 inch pilot tip, ground in a spiral flute. The pilot leads the reamer into the existing hole and holds it true, so the finished bore stays straight and concentric. It is marked L&I, part number 533 B-4B.
L&I is the Lavallee & Ide reamer marking. A piloted chucking reamer of this type is used for machine-shop hole finishing and tool-room sizing, bringing a drilled hole to an exact .533 inch diameter with a smooth bore where alignment is critical.
One reamer, appears unused. New surplus, available from King Surplus inventory in Del Rio, Texas.
