Item Description
Piloted chucking reamer with a .2480 inch cutting diameter and a .294 inch pilot diameter, 5-1/2 inch overall length, ground with a spiral flute and made of HSS high-speed steel. The pilot tip guides the reamer true so the finished hole holds its diameter, and the spiral flute clears chips smoothly across cross-holes.
Drill America branded, marked R-1 HS USA 9752. A piloted reamer of this size is used for tool-room sizing and machine-shop hole finishing where an already-drilled hole must be brought to an exact bore with a smooth finish.
