Item Description
An HSS drill reamer measuring .2450 inch in diameter with a 4-3/8 inch overall length, built with coolant holes, a spiral flute, and a TiN coating. The coolant holes feed fluid to the cutting edges to flush chips clear and keep temperatures down in deeper or production holes, and the spiral flute carries chips up and out of the bore.
This is aircraft tooling, a combination drill-and-ream design that drills and then sizes the hole to a precise finished diameter in one tool. The coolant-fed geometry suits stacked sections and higher-rate work where chip clearing is critical.
