Item Description
This is a high-speed steel piloted chucking reamer with a 7/16 inch .4375 (11.1 mm) cutting diameter and a .3740 inch (9.5 mm) integral pilot, running spiral flutes over a 7-1/2 inch overall length. The long body reaches into deeper holes, while the pilot tip guides the cutting section true and the spiral flutes clear chips up and out of the bore.
Designated an aircraft reamer and carrying part number 999-069CB, it brings a drilled hole to a precise final size with a smooth wall, the close-tolerance finish needed for aircraft structural fasteners and aerospace assembly. No maker brand appears on the tool.
