Item Description
This is a high-speed steel piloted drill reamer with a .2475 inch (6.3 mm) cutting diameter and a .2280 inch (5.8 mm) integral pilot, 4-1/4 inches in overall length. The pilot tip rides the existing hole and guides the cutting section true, while the TiN coating adds surface hardness and helps the edges run cooler in production work.
Configured as an aviation reamer, it brings a drilled hole to a precise finish diameter and a smooth bore, the kind of close-tolerance hole required for aircraft structural fasteners and tool-room sizing. The pilot makes it well suited to repeat work where every hole must land on the same axis.
