Item Description
An HSS piloted chucking reamer cutting at 3/16 inch (.1875 inch) with a .1710 inch pilot tip. The pilot rides the drilled hole and guides the cutting section true, bringing the bore to an exact diameter with a smooth finish.
This reamer is marked L&I, a US reamer manufacturer (Lavallee & Ide), and carries part number #535 A88. The piloted design suits work where the reamer must follow an existing hole and hold tolerance.
