Nakamura-Tome Slant-4B CNC Horizontal Turning Center

Great Day Everyone. This unit is being sold as Non-Salvageable/Parts Only. This is a Nakamura-Tome Slant-4B CNC Horizontal Turning Center with Fanuc 6T control. Specifications: 12" Chuck, 33.86" Swing Over Bed, 20.47" Swing Over Saddle, 18.31" Turning Diameter, 1,100-1,500 lbs workpiece weight. Known issues include damaged motor and damaged servo amplifier. The Fanuc 6T control is early 1980s technology with extremely limited parts availability essentially museum-piece electronics. Nakamura-Tome Slant series were well-regarded Japanese slant-bed lathes, rigid and accurate, popular in job shops and production environments through the 80s-90s. Spindles, turrets, and tailstocks may have demand from Slant-4B owners keeping older machines running. This unit is scheduled for removal during Phase 1 at the end of January/February. We are accepting offers on this unit. We will accept offers on individual parts, but keep in mind any parts are sold as-is where-is. Shipping is not included.
