Item Description
Piloted drill reamer with a .247 inch caliper-measured diameter and a 4-1/2 inch overall length, made of HSS high-speed steel with a TiAlN coating and coolant holes that feed coolant to the cutting edge to flush chips clear. The pilot tip guides the tool true so the finished hole holds its diameter and runs straight.
This is aircraft tooling, the type of precision hole tool used in aircraft and aerospace structural assembly where fastener holes must meet exacting tolerances. The TiAlN coating adds heat and wear resistance for harder alloys.
