Item Description
A spiral-flute chucking reamer in 15/32 inch (.4688 inch) diameter, ground from high-speed steel with a gold TiN coating and a long 8-3/4 inch reach. The spiral flutes pull chips back and out of the bore, which produces a clean finish in through-holes and interrupted cuts.
Cleveland Twist Drill is a long-established US cutting-tool brand (part of Greenfield Industries). This reamer is marked 372D and part number 107943. Chucking reamers run in a machine spindle to bring a drilled hole to final size in production and tool-room work, and the TiN coating adds surface hardness for longer edge life.
