Item Description
A piloted chucking reamer with a 5/16 inch (.3125 inch) cutting diameter and a .375 inch pilot, ground 6 inches long in TiN-coated high-speed steel with a spiral flute. The pilot tip rides the bore ahead of the flutes and guides the reamer true, holding the finished hole on size and concentric.
The spiral flute clears chips smoothly through the cut, and the TiN coating extends edge life in production reaming. It suits machine-shop hole finishing and tool-room sizing where a true 5/16 inch bore is required.
