Item Description
A high-speed steel (HSS) piloted drill reamer with a .2177 inch (5.53 mm) cutting diameter and a .202 inch (5.13 mm) pilot tip, about 6 inches long. It is marked Semco and is aircraft and aerospace tooling.
The pilot enters the hole first and keeps the reamer running true so the finished bore holds size and stays concentric. A 6 inch length reaches holes that sit deep in a structure, which is why this style is used for the precise fastener holes in aircraft and aerospace structural assembly, along with general production reaming and MRO sizing.
