Item Description
This is a Tweco 238-TSF panel receptacle, Tweco part number 9580-1102. Tweco, labeled as a Thermadyne company, makes welding cable connectors, lugs, splicers and panel receptacles used on welding machines and cable leads.
A panel receptacle mounts through the front panel or case of a welding power source, engine drive welder or distribution box and gives a quick disconnect point for the welding leads. The 238-TSF is the threaded style and is listed for 1/0, 2/0 and 3/0 welding cable. It accepts Tweco MPC style male plugs in the No. 2 and No. 4 sizes, so a welder can connect or disconnect an electrode or work lead by hand without tools.
