Item Description
The Omega PGT-45L-30V is a Type T high accuracy test gauge for vacuum, reading 30 to 0 inches of mercury on a 4-1/2 inch dial in 0.1 inHg subdivisions. Test gauges like this are used as a reference to check and calibrate general service gauges, for production inspection and for precise readings on instrument and process lines.
In Omega's model code, PGT is the test gauge series, 45 is the 4-1/2 inch dial, L is the lower connection and 30V is the 30 inHg vacuum range code. The dial is marked temperature compensated, Grade 3A with 0.25% accuracy, and it lists a welded Monel K500 Bourdon tube and Monel 400 socket. Omega's catalog describes a solid aluminum epoxy coated case, glass window, stainless steel movement, 1/2 NPT fitting and a mirror band on the dial for reading without parallax. Monel wetted parts suit corrosive media better than brass.
