These are great for being out on the trail on Long hikes. at summer camp in the tent along the river. up at the cabin in the snow on the mountain. Tromping through the woods to get to your favorite fishing hole or even when you get home late in the evening from work and the power's out from the storm. With the self-heating pouch for the main entree you actually get a better than warm meal. No Refrigeration needed. Stored easily on a Shelf and there when you need them
