King Surplus prices are so low I sent everyone in my church a link to their site. Similar to Dave Ramsey's emergency fund saving goal, every household should have at least a six-month food supply. MREs with an incredibly long shelf life are a quick way to accomplish. Store in the back of a closet or up off the floor in a corner of your basement and consider them the best insurance you ever purchased.
