U.S. Army M40 electrical power distribution box, part of a military field distribution system: 120/208V three phase in at 40 amps per phase, feed-through output at the same rating, and twelve 20-amp single-phase branch outputs, several of them ground-fault protected. Nameplate part number 97403-13226E7049, NSN 6150-01-208-9753, technical manual TM 5-6150-226-13&P.
Boxes of this type distribute generator power across a field site: tents, shops, shelters, and equipment fed from one 3-phase source through breaker-protected branch circuits.
