Item Description
Gould Modicon B875-001 analog input module, serial 3682, accepting 4-20 mA and 1-5 V analog signals with PROM combination number 1002. The faceplate carries OVER RANGE, UNDER RANGE and ACTIVE indicators. Factory electrical test and final inspection dates are stamped January 1986.
Modicon invented the programmable logic controller, and Gould-era 800-series modules populate racks that are still running production lines decades later. Analog input modules bring pressure, level, flow and temperature transmitters into the controller on the industry-standard 4-20 mA loop.
Replacement I/O is the lifeline of a legacy PLC installation: plants standardized on Modicon racks keep spares on the shelf, because a failed input card idles a machine while a control system migration is quoted in months.
