Item Description
The MGE Pulsar EXL 891100-44 is a 10 kVA / 8 kW online double-conversion UPS built for continuous, high-integrity power protection. Online double-conversion topology isolates the load from raw utility power, regenerating a clean output waveform and delivering seamless protection against sags, surges, and outages. Systems of this class support server rooms, network and telecom closets, medical imaging suites, laboratory instrumentation, and industrial process-control panels where a dropped load is not acceptable.
MGE UPS Systems, the French manufacturer of the Pulsar line, built the EXL series as floor-standing single-phase units with an internal sealed lead-acid battery string. On surplus units of this age the battery pack has typically reached end of life and should be treated as a replacement item; the electronics and power stage carry the value.
This unit is cosmetically clean with minor cabinet scuffs and has not been powered up or bench-tested. Frequency is 60 Hz, compatible with the North American grid, and the unit was made in France. Sold as-is, surplus from King Surplus inventory in Del Rio, Texas. Same-day shipping on orders before 3:00 PM CT.
