Item Description
The ZP31K5E-TF5-130 is a hermetic, fixed-speed Copeland Scroll compressor for air conditioning and heat pump systems. A fixed and an orbiting spiral compress refrigerant toward the center of the scroll set, sealed inside a welded shell and replaced as a unit; it runs at one speed and cycles on and off to control capacity.
This model is built for R410A refrigerant with POE lubricant and rated at about 2.6 tons (31,200 BTU/hr) with a 10.2 EER. It runs on 200-230 V three-phase, 60 Hz power and is used in light commercial and larger residential air conditioning systems on three-phase service. In the Copeland code, ZP is the R410A scroll family, 31 the nominal capacity in thousands of BTU/hr, K5E the platform generation, and TF5 the motor code for 200-230 V three-phase, 60 Hz.
