Item Description
This is a Daman Products AD05SPS8P aluminum subplate for NFPA D05 (ISO NG10) hydraulic valves. Daman Products Company builds hydraulic manifolds, subplates and valve mounting products. Per Daman, a subplate gives one hydraulic valve a mounting pad of the same size, and offers a lower profile than a single station manifold while allowing different port styles, sizes, locations and pressure ratings. Daman uses the term subplate for mounting a single valve and manifold for assemblies that carry more than one valve.
The part number describes the configuration. A marks aluminum construction, D05 is the valve pattern, SPS indicates a side ported subplate, and 8P indicates 1/2 inch NPT ports. The aluminum version is rated for 3000 PSI and this model has no relief valve cavity.
A D05 directional control valve, such as a solenoid operated spool valve, bolts to the top face, and the pressure, tank and work port lines connect to the side ports. Hydraulic system builders, machine designers and maintenance technicians use subplates like this on hydraulic power units and machine hydraulics.
