This is an ATB Laurence Scott Precision Step Systems Rotastep 1510 pneumatic clutch-brake unit, type ND080H5111, made in England. The Rotastep is an air-operated combination clutch/brake used for fast, accurate start-stop positioning in high-cycle production machinery such as labeling, cutting, packaging, dosing, sorting, box folding, and thermoforming. Torque is varied by regulating the compressed-air supply pressure, and the compressed-air design avoids the residual magnetic-field effects of electromagnetic clutch/brakes. The 1510 (Size 15) is the largest unit in the Rotastep range, rated 40-120 Nm on a 28 mm solid shaft. This unit is used surplus in good cosmetic condition and is offered as-is, untested.
