Item Description
A piloted drill reamer with a .2785 inch cutting diameter and a short 1-5/8 inch length, carrying coolant holes and a .050 inch step. The drilling lead combined with the reaming section opens and finishes a hole in one pass, while the through-tool coolant flushes chips clear in the cut.
Tooling of this style is used in aircraft and aerospace structural assembly, where fastener holes must be produced to tight diameter and finish tolerances. The piloted nose keeps the tool aligned to an existing hole or bushing. It carries part number 52273C52630 and appears unused.
