Item Description
Piloted machine reamer with a .2662 inch measured cutting diameter and a .2460 inch pilot tip, ground with a spiral flute. Made from high-speed steel (HSS). The pilot guides the tool true into the existing hole while the spiral flutes clear chips as the cutting edges bring the bore to an exact diameter and smooth finish.
Used as a machine reamer in tool-room and machine-shop hole finishing where a guided, precise-diameter cut is needed.
