Item Description
HSS piloted spiral-flute machine reamer cutting .4667 inch, with a .4506 inch pilot tip that guides the tool true through the bore. Overall length is 8 inches.
The pilot rides in the existing hole and holds the reamer concentric while the spiral flutes shear the cut and flush chips clear, bringing the bore to an exact final diameter with a smooth finish. Chucked in a drill press, lathe, or mill, the 8 inch length gives reach for deeper machine-shop and tool-room hole finishing.
