HSS drill reamer cutting .2070 inch on a threaded shank, 3-1/8 inches overall, configured for Taper-Lok aerospace fastener tooling. The high-speed steel body resists heat and wear through repeated cutting cycles.
Taper-Lok is an aerospace interference-fit fastener system, and a reamer like this one cuts the precise hole those fasteners seat into during structural aircraft assembly. As a combination tool it drills and brings the hole to its exact final diameter in a single pass, leaving a smooth bore matched to the fastener. The threaded shank locks into a power feed drill motor for repeatable reaming on the line, and the 3-1/8 inch length gives reach into the joint stack-up.
