Item Description
A Taper-Lok drill reamer with a .3265 inch cutting diameter on a 4-1/4 inch body, marked Mohawk and fitted with an oil hole for through-tool coolant. The tool both opens and finishes a hole in a single pass, and the coolant feed flushes chips clear so the bore holds size and finish.
Taper-Lok is an aerospace interference-fit fastener system, and reamers of this type produce the precise holes those fasteners require in aircraft structural assembly and MRO. This piece carries part number TLD2040BR5-5 (044) and is new old stock (NOS).
