It joins three lengths of 1 inch Schedule 40 PVC pipe at a 90 degree branch, using primer and solvent cement to make a permanent bonded joint. Charlotte catalogs this fitting as PVC 02400 1000, where 02400 is the Schedule 40 tee and 1000 is the 1 inch size; retail packs add suffixes such as HA or HD.
