Copeland ZRT188KCE-TFE-950 commercial tandem scroll compressor assembly, rated 191,500 BTU/hr and built from two ZR94KCE-TFE-450 scroll compressors manifolded on a common base. From Emerson's commercial ZRKC Copeland Scroll family, it is a 575V 3-phase, 60 Hz unit nominally rated at 16 HP, charged with POE oil and originally an R-22 design that also carries forward as a service compressor for R-407C and R-134a systems. Tandem construction allows staged capacity control, switching between one and both compressors to match part-load demand for smoother, more efficient operation than a single fixed-capacity unit.

Used in commercial rooftop units, packaged air conditioners, chiller plants, and process cooling where staged high-tonnage capacity is required. Being 3-phase, the compressors require no start or run capacitor. Each scroll uses axial and radial compliance for efficient compression and good liquid-handling tolerance, with Advanced Scroll Temperature Protection on the family.
