Item Description
An adjustable expansion reamer measuring 1.231 inches across the flutes, built on a long 13 inch body with a .962 inch shank and a threaded pilot. The expanding body lets the operator fine-tune the reaming diameter within a narrow range, so a single tool covers several close-tolerance hole sizes.
Long reamers like this one reach deep bores and through-holes on machine tools, fixtures, and large fabricated assemblies where a fixed-size reamer cannot reach or cannot be sized exactly. The threaded pilot guides the tool true as it brings the hole to a smooth, accurate diameter.
