Item Description
An adjustable expansion reamer set near .264 inch (6.71 mm) diameter, with a 1-1/8 inch cutting body and set screws that let the blades expand to dial in the working size. It is made of high-speed steel (HSS).
The set-screw adjustment lets one tool cover a small range of diameters, so it brings a drilled hole to final size when an exact fixed-size reamer is not on hand. This makes it useful for tool-room sizing, fitting jobs, and MRO repair where a hole has to be opened slightly and finished smooth. Set the blades, take a light finishing cut, and check size.
