Item Description
This high-speed steel piloted drill reamer cuts to a .2640 inch diameter on a 1-5/8 inch length, with coolant holes that feed coolant to the cutting edges to flush chips clear and hold the bore clean. The piloted, combination drill-and-ream design sizes and finishes a hole in one pass.
Carried as aircraft tooling under part number 5326484C02470, the tool produces the accurately held, smooth hole that aircraft fastener assembly requires. The coolant feed suits deeper or production holes where chip clearing keeps the finish true.
